First Nations Veterinary is a program of Charity HQ, an Oregon 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 2022 we have provided free spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats on Oregon reservations, completing roughly 1,500 surgeries at no cost to owners.
We are a Native led organization.

We believe spay/neuter is the root solution. Free-roaming animals, unwanted litters, crowded shelters, euthanasia for space — it all traces back to reproduction no one was able to prevent. Rescue and rehoming treat the consequence. Sterilization removes the cause, permanently.

We work from a One Health perspective. Fewer roaming animals means fewer bites, less disease, fewer ticks and worms carried into homes. Healthier animals make healthier communities.

Our Services
We provide free spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats, performed by licensed veterinarians with pre-operative exams, monitored recovery, and same-day discharge.
Every animal also receives core vaccines including rabies, a microchip, and flea and tick treatment. No income screening, no cost to the owner. One visit, and the animal goes home protected.
